Was bigger this morning with the veil all the way open, I picked it this morning, there was another one about the size of the one in the picture. Lets hope for more because the ones inside aren't doing well at all. I'm gone 10-16 hours a day and it's been hard to maintain ideal conditions.

Those are some pretty dark caps. What variety?

I just tossed 3 jars of ape like that. I took a sample to agar. It's growing like it should. I kept one jar for further observation, I think you're good man. The jars I tossed all smelled like they should. I just didn't wanna take the chance. But I think you're good man

Looks like sclerotia to me, from what I've seen here, which I know only certain ones can grow sclerotia but my friend had a similar mass in his one time with one that want supposed to grow them. I'd leave it and keep an eye on it

I got a jar of blue magnolia that has this going on just a fruit body trying to fruit discard this piece before spawning do it soon before it starts to rot
