Or we can choose to learn from it, grow from it, trasmute whatever it may be into something that serves us instead of hinder us. I would add that it keeps us stagnant, though thats not fully true because in everything we go through... there is something to be gained. Remind yourself this, next time you find yourself wallowing in self pity. (Not that feeling emotions and going through them are bad, not at all, they are a beautiful part of this human experience and in them their is so much to gain). Recoginize what you are feelingAccept it for what it is beyond how you feel about itInvestigate it/ observe what it is Then Release it, allow yourself to be free from it.
