CosmicFunguy I was browsing around and saw similar process but with just Oats. I liked this video since it was better explained, kind of like the Agar recipe video, not his recipe but the knowledge was simplified to make it easier for me to follow.

As for the new bird seed smell, we'll hopefully it isn't as bad as the corn. Only way I'll find out is getting my jars done. No prep is the way to go. I've been doing it for a while now with oats, rye and popcorn. Quick, super simple and perfect hydration each time.

whodat420 I know, it really bums me out to. I personally enjoy popcorn and it is easy to work with. Maybe one of those days where strangely I get the place to myself again I'll be able to. As of now I need jars to make and I can't stall any longer. lol
