The real struggle is having so many specimens to view but so little time…
Yuppp I have boxes of agar that likely will not be used.. it's sad I have been doing the same with the long term storage. I have over 90 cultures I had to do something to preserve them so I got some of those 2 ml cryo tubes. ill throw five or six wedges in there and stick in the fridge keeps 5 years... View More

ya softer/wetter agar can help if spores don’t want to germinate. I think this peddle method gives you the most tries though. You could try with like 5 or 6 different recipes with one swab this way.
