If you can see black just know your working with 100,000 + spores on the tip of the swab as for what's on the foil millions of possibilities it only takes 2 spores to tango a good print will last a lifetime if you store it properly follow the advice given by GaiaGazing

You want to make sure they smell like mycelium. Any acrid, sweet, bitter, chemical, ammonia, or stale like scents should be approached with caution.
