View MoreMy full album "Slightly Unpredictable" is now out on streaming platforms! When I set out to create an album over a year ago, my goal was really just to create music that I personally would enjoy listening to. As it came together, I started to feel like it would be fun to see if it might reach others who would enjoy it as well. Turns out it's both a vulnerable and rewarding thing to share my music. I wanted it to reflect the vulnerability and struggle that comes with the kind of spiritual journey I've been on for the last several years, which has been driven by exploring expanded states of consciousness (psychedelics, astral projection, lucid dreaming, etc.), and I wanted to make music that was weird and out of the box. But I wanted it to ultimately be a positive and uplifting set of songs that could help 'keep me on track' by reminding me of the encouraging concepts I've been learning along the way. It's also been super fun to share some of this process with my wife. I was thrilled that she agreed to contribute her lyrics and vocals to a few songs throughout the album. View MoreHere is a summary of the night I recently had where I kept repeatedly astral projecting. I have read extensively about astral projection over the past couple years but have had pretty limited personal experience, so this felt like a big step forward. In the past I have never tried to initiate an astral projection intentionally. It has always been spontaneous, and almost every time I have snapped back into my body immediately after seeing the astral realm because my initial reaction is fear. This is a subconscious reaction that happens so involuntarily and immediately that I never seem to really have time to override it with my mind/intention before. The one exception is the first time I ever projected (spontaneously) where I was able to travel down the hallway of my house and through the window outside, before the speed alarmed me and i lost it.A few weeks ago I was in a foreign country on very little sleep. The foreign country part might be notable because I have actually read that projection can happen more easily when sleeping in unfamiliar locations. The little sleep is just a data point - I had slept maybe 3 hours and had been up struggling to sleep for a few hours at this point. My mindset was frustration about my struggle to sleep, and I had started meditating to calm my mind and help me accept the situation I was in.The meditation is what seemed to prompt the "vibrational stage" where there was a very obvious and unignorable vibration throughout my entire body (felt as my "energy body" - usually when I meditate I am feeling my energy body somewhat consciously). I had been focusing primarily on my breath.I recognized the vibrational stage as the precursor to projection, and again my initial reaction was fear. I started to hear prominent voices whispering in what felt like an evil way - I remember hearing some words clearly yet it was pretty scrambled and mostly unintelligible, seemingly multiple voices. I remember hearing the word "fuck" spoken as part of it. In addition to the fear I also felt fascinated by what I heard and I think that genuine fascination kept me there long enough to have the thought "meditate to remove the fear." I went back into meditation.At this point it felt similar to meditating in a lucid dream, which typically has very dramatic and transformative effects. More specifically, the meditation introduced a change of vibration pretty immediately and I felt the voices disappear as if I was tuning a radio away from that station. I was then aware of being in a room.I tried to float around (i.e., float my point of consciousness around as I didn't feel aware of my astral body or anything like that). I was able to move forward but my mindset was not extremely confident about it - it was more of an experimental mentality. In retrospect I think that lack of confidence caused me to move very slowly and somewhat struggle to define intentionally where I was heading. For example I remember approaching a door and thinking "I wonder if I can float through it" and getting a little stuck on it because I was doubting my power.Eventually I snapped back to my body and was awake. I returned to meditation and the same process happened - vibrations, voices, tuning out the voices by meditating. I would experiment with navigating the realms and then eventually return to my body. This happened maybe about ten times. The more it would repeat, the more comfortable I got with "tuning my dial" away from the voices and into exploration.I tried to find people I knew and tried to find my dog. I know that experienced projectors are usually able to do this with their intentions. But again I had more of a curious experimental approach - wondering if it would work or not. I think because of that mindset it didn't work. But I did find myself moving around and seeing new rooms in new locations. The environments felt as real as waking life, but sometimes when my mindset became more unstable this was no longer the case.That is pretty much the experience. I learned that confidence correlates with more definitive intentional movement, and that a lack of it produces slow and less stable results. I felt strongly that my inner vibration dictated the nature of my experience. The "negative" or "evil" voices correlated with fear and more peaceful places correlated with getting out of that fear and into a more peaceful state (meditation).

I was struggling with sleeping for more tha... View MoreLast day of my 30 day cannabis break. I did smoke some at day 18 to 22 when I had the rona as part of my holistic treatment. After day 22 I went another 12. I was struggling with sleeping for more than 2 hours at a time because of the intensity of my dreams at day 5. I wanted to thank everyone that offered suggestions and advice when I posted looking for help. I tried everything everyone suggested but still couldn't sleep for more than 2 hours at a time. Finally in the last 5 days I have managed to sleep 4 hours at a time before waking up. The last 4 days I have been drinking herbal tea made by Animal Energy. Specifically his Deep Sleep Dream Blend. I must say with having tried everything else I really wasn't expecting much difference but I was pleasantly surprised. Going from 2 to 4 hours is huge. I can function on 4 hours of sleep a night very well, I used to only sleep that much for years and years.
