I don't know enough about the science behind the production of a vaccine to get into the nitty gritty of weather or not it's effective/ineffective or the risks. I know that there are inherent risks. My objection stems from the perspective that; 1)I have already had the virus 2) although it was top 3 for the sickest i have ever been, my immune system fought it off, i was down for a total of about 7 days... Main thing is my wife caught it 6 months later and had a bad go with it also, but neither of us have tested positive since our first encounter. 3) HowTF can anyone tell me a vaccine will have a greater effect on my immunology than actually having contracted, and beaten the virus? And if they can't say in any definitive terms how long i will be immune after having the vaccine, then how can they recommend getting the vaccine vs not if the person has already been infected, exposed numerous times after, and not contracted it a second time? I quarantine and get tested if and when i am exposed. I don't want the blood of my neighbors, the elderly in our community, the sick, the weak, the innocent on my hands. My FiL has and is still getting chemotherapy so i am exercising caution... but none of us should be expected to STOP LIVING to protect the few... there has to be a level of self-care and personal responsibility used if you are High Risk... that responsibility does not fall on me... I told my wife in May of 2020 that if this line of thinking is followed through with then School Teachers that show up to work with the sniffles and it turns out that they spread influenza and it resulted in the death of any of their students (you and i both know it has happened) Said teacher could be brought up on MURDER charges... I intend zero disrespect in my views/thoughts/opinions. I'm sure i come off abrasive. I do love and respect you sir! I just feel passionately about this topic. There is alot of misinformation, you're correct. I just know that the US Government has really been ODD about trying to lure people in for the jab. They said if we get "X"% then we will be fine... once they hit that number they quit asking and started forcing. You know the old expression "give them an inch and they'll take a mile"? Well if we don't make a stand here and now then our childrens children will have ZERO rights when it comes to what pills, shots, vaccines etc etc get pushed into their bodies or their childrens bodies. I simply envoke my right to be wrong and change my mind at a later date if the facts come to light and weigh heavily enough to do so... To be 100% open and honest, i would probably view this vaccine quite differently... maybe even trust it in good faith... IF the US Government, and the United Nations stepped the fuck up and persued legal actions against those behind this virus with half the vigor as they have of forcing this vaccine on the victims of Biological Warfare.
