View MoreAfter having grown a couple grams of golden teachers and eaten them, i can only conclude that mushrooms are very much overhyped and dont do much to a person except make them feel nauseous. No synesthesia, no strange/profound thoughts, no extra energy or happiness, no nothing. Anyone else of that opinion or does everyone have amazing trip reports to write?

After a dismal failure with my first set of syringes and only getting a total yield of three mushrooms, a slight improvement. Putting what seemed tp be healthy popcorn grain spawn (golden teachers and natal super strength) to a horse manure/straw substrate, two small tupperwares colonised quick in ten days and seem to be fruiting well, the other two tupperwares (same substrate same spawn) showed no signs of colonisation. The grain spawn recovered a bit but never took to the substrate. Can only think the fault is in my sterile technique no obvious signs of contamination but a sharp sweet smell tells me something went wrong.

Every time i log in or log on that sentence bothers me.Took three mushrooms fresh last night, minimum dosage and didn't exoect to feel it, and i didn't. But i woke up this morning feeling out of sorts and questioning myself. Three mushrooms. Took me three years, since 2017 when i bought a syringe (thinking thst i was being ripped off and a fool to buy something like that online. But i bought it.)Winter came which set me back. I only go into town once a month, so gathering things like vermiculite and brf from the little rural town i go to wasn't easy. But finally everything came together. Then excitements and dissppointments as i saw my grain jars start to colonise then stall and turn to bacterial mush. And finally three little mushrooms.Now i am sitting with new jars that have been sterilised snd new syringes to start all over again. Wondering if i am going to have the same failures all repeated. Looking around, everything is dirty, everything is overgrown, its all chaotic. Things that have meant to have been done have been neglected. And i can't find the strength or energy to make it all right. But that is all outside of me, inside of me i am at peace, inside i am grateful, for this perfect day and perfect weather, the little things. The rest of it should take care of itself.
