Why do you have to add colonized grains to a substrate?could you spawn straight off the grains?

Hey @bmiss, you could do either. With the colonized grains, it's just that: they're fully colonized, you're increasing a higher yield ratio (amount of fruiting bodies) when doing with substrate (depends on size of tub).
