Memes spread like viruses, but the immune system of DMT World kills them. The immune system is not other than the Users which cannot be manipulated easily.Why? Because users here share a common experience with psychedelic drugs. And that experience is so powerful that it makes them different from the rest of society. They are less prone to religious and cultural conditioning.They are intelligent.They question reality. They question authority. They are supportive.They are philosophical, pragmatic, creative, and joyful. They like to share knowledge and help each other.They don't fear being vulnerable and sharing their true feelings and appearances.Nonetheless, I would like to make a point. I think this platform was modeled after Facebook because we see the same basic design here.I mean, the paper towel Feed, like buttons, comment sections, and groups. All of them make the interaction very similar to Facebook.But, Facebook wasn't a good model for this Social Network because Facebook was not made to enhance human connection. Facebook was made to grab human attention and provoke compulsive responses in us.It was made to extract our data, and facilitate the replication of memes for commercial and political purposes. So, how can we differentiate this platform from Facebook? What things should be changed here to make it more beneficial for the psychedelic community?How can we make it even more resistant to external negativity from other networks on the internet?This is not an existential threat to DMT World, but I think it would be nice to make something about it.The Internet should serve human beings, it should not serve Wall Street.I recommend the admins to read Team Human by Douglas Rushkoff.
