View MoreIf you think about it, it was never about "forgiveness", nobody really legitimately cares about "forgiveness", or forgiving people and getting back nothing Normal human being's reaction when someone's fucking with you - is to distance yourself from this person, or to get a little creative and fuck back in order to get revenge, and then again distance yourself from the person There's couple examples of paradoxes, where you like/love/depend from the person that fucks with you and does harm to you, what makes this task 100 times harder to prevent, distance, and secure yourself from this person, and further harm from his actions If i had to guess, I would speculate that our human species haven't evolved far enough to effectively deal with this kind of situations, and control our feelings with cold heads using only logic and common sense When we get to the stage where everything has already happened and we start dealing with that - our brain starts to work overtime and launch a bunch of extra processes in the background to faster figure it all out, and get done with all this suffering that the same brain does as one of the background professes, triggering our bodies to produce specific combinations of chemical compounds that make us feel physical pain when we even think about this or that person My conclusion is - the moment we start thinking about "forgiveness" or forgiving someone who did something bad to us, is an indicator that there's too many processes been working for too long in the background, and didn't really find any reasonable solutions. Then our monkey, half-evolved brains come up with a lifehack, as "forgiveness" - you forgive all the bad stuff another monkey did you, plus on the top you start to feel yourself better (which is a totally fake and made up feeling thst is designed just to help you and make you feel better). After doing so and truly believing in what you've done was the right decision - you brain can finally stop shutting down all unnecessary background processes that were supporting you through your battle, you can finally start getting normal sleep, stop wasting all your time and energy thinking about it over and over again, and you can slowly start getting back on track, getting back to "normal" life To me "forgiveness" is a lifehack or some kind of cheating (which sometimes is very necessary and useful tool), or a plan B (little pocket nuke) that you'll never tell anyone about when and on who you're gonna use it To end this long story short - when you decide to use "forgiveness method" on someone, in reality that would be the last thing you would do if you had any other option I look at it as at just one of the many ways out of it that actually benefits both parties. I also look at the time, how high I am and my ashtray, and I think that's about time to go to bed Proud of ya'll making that far, and love every single one of you - everything's gonna always be better no matter where you're at right now at this moment - keep moving
