Since it was my fist time making it, I took my time and didn't rush into it, which took 2 days. I put 200 gr of red Caapi and 100 gr of dried Chacruna leaves in a slow cooker. Added water till all material was submerged and put the slow cooker on "low" setting for 4 hours, after which I strained the brew. I did this 4 times in total and added 4 table spoons of lime juce only to the final wash. This all resulted in about 9 liters of collected liquid, which I had to bring down to about 400 ml...which took ALOT of time. I put it all in a steel pan on low-medium heat and put a fan next to it to speed up the evaporation, while stirring and making sure it doesn't boil. The entire time I sang to it as much as I could and tried to focus on my intentions. Now I let is sit in the fridge and try to remove some of the sediments still in there.

I want to use as much of this beautiful plant as I can. This is an interesting read if you're interested: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5628559/
