Sladds recommended to me that i soak a towel in peroxide (3%) and lay it over the afftected area over night. Worked like a charm. I ended up drenching a paper towel in peroxide and layed it over the whole shabang for the night, followed by a day and a half of peroxide misting to be extra sure. No mo... View More

Normally cobweb happens from moisture; however you choose to treat your sub, make sure you adjust the moisture content-air it out. This week, I misted a tub two sprays too many-had the fuzzy feet, and all I did was open the lid for a few hours to air out. Worked like a charm. Cobweb a bit differentl... View More

I never use casing (also very new, 3 successful fruiting attempts) but definitely need your sube to be below your fae holes or you wont get fae there. Good luck buddy!

Some pins do tend to start off more slender than others, and will fill up a bit as the grow or vice versa, will start off like chubby little babies and slenderize as the fruit more. Patience, Friend.

From prior experience ..... One wants to be really careful laminating walls with plastic or plexiglass (expensive!) etc ..... It can over time become a vector for mold/mildew growth upon/within the plaster/sheetrock due to the lack of air and depending upon the natural moisture content of ones env... View More

The possibilities are endless and you are right about the mold. My closet that I converted into my storage where I keep all my supplies and grain, along with some of the jars managed to collect black mold on the hinges; this was after I removed the plastic lining. So could I have prevente... View More

Use boxes with gasket for keeping your inoc grain and agar plates in a clean place if you dont have one, and use microopore for gas exchange where ver you need it, sab for working inside another closed clean space
