Anyone have an opinion to what's going on here, I've been making a spore print of these wild Alabama cubensis and every batch I start from spore prints is getting weirder past couple batches been like... View More

I really think you've induced these mutations and that they aren't in the slightest "stabilized" or "selected".
Looks to me that you need to increase FAE considerably I've personally never EVER seen fruits so long and skinny in any of my theoretical alleged grows...

But you should probably think of a cool name, swab or print them and share the genetics via our marketplace for Microscopy Purposes Only of course.. say 50$ or 100$ per print right?

@Donniebrasco he mentions the wild mutating indoors and reverting after a few generations outdoors. Makes sense, if you want to reproduce fast in order to survive then a speedy normal looking cube with a heavy spore dump would be ideal.

Yes perfect for genetic experiments I'd love to look at the spores under my scope

Id like to know others opinions on this one, never had this happen on my fruitings but this seems to have grown same with others but there is reddish type stripes down the stem and zoom in on the cap ... View More

It makes sense though, the moon is responsible for the tides aswell and mushies/humans are mainly water. I often find myself unable to sleep before during and after a full moon so i can imagine that inoculating at a certein moon phase has an impact on your grow.
Status on this this albino one its getting huge, cant wait till the cap opens, pretty potent strain, i add organic rye flour to my BRF tek and it happens to add the the ride, anyone ever try adding it... View More

Nice grow man, looks promesing. Sarek I never grew any Leucistic, what gives it away? Leucistic has dark spores and Albino white or something like that?
Innervison that's exactly right. True albinos lack pigmentation in the spores as well as the fruit bodies.
Nothing like some Wild Alabama Cubensis, cant wait to make a spore print of the albino looking ones, had about 5 grams wet and pretty potent, i add organic rye flour to brf tek and seems to make a muc... View More

Just a suggestion but I think you should clone the albino looking ones if you want to carry on with its appearance. I'm not sure you're going to get what you're looking for. I think you're likely to get normal mushies from the prints. And more likely to carry on the genes that you're looking for wit... View More
If the albino is something you want to stabilize you will have to go back to spore at some point and those spores must come from albino fruits. You could clone and then take spores from whatever albino fruits pop up.. Then grow multiple cultures from those specific spores. I like cloning if I'm just... View More

Yeah, the bigger ones near top are rusty whyte and the 4 lower ones are suppose to be an Alabama wild cubensis, obtain spores from a friend cant wait to take a couple spore prints. Its been hot and humid here, and where i have them is warm about 80 degrees, so their just growing good. Always try sho... View More
