Do I need to case monotub? I am reading conflicting info on this. It's a 66qt with about a 4" substrate

It is a unnecessary option. I've had plenty of success not casing, had just as much casing. It's all personal preference, unless it is a variety that requires a casing, ie: PE variants, exotics such as Nats ect.

Probably start seeing knots form any time now, that will then turn into pins. I say a day or two tops and you should start seeing little pins.
