Will naptha burn on a magnectic stirrer all the youtubes show you the cheap way, i dont mind investing inmyself!

Sometimes the solvent will go into base... constant agitation will help seporate as well as get rid of any emultions that may form.. which is why i like the stirrer. For larger batches youll need a overhead stirrer if you choose to do 100g mhrb or larger. Stirrers arent needed... they just help

The only drawback ive heard about the stirbar is the coating. Some are coated with a material that dissolves. Pretty sure its the high ph.

@chiefbigbear i only use stir bars that are teflon coated. I havent noticed any issues even after leaving one in soup for 2 weeks

Im not sure what material people use that melts but they pull out a bare metal torpedo wondering wtf happened lol the one stir bar i owned was teflon coated aswell
