I was told meet my friend behind his house to fish at the river. I arrived at 6, he was due to be there around 8:30 pm. I smoked a couple of bowls as I waited for the 6 tabs I ate to kick in. A couple hours in I look across the river at the concrete piers and realize its the same one my buddies dad used to take us fishing on when I was around 14 or 15 yrs old. My first experience with cocaine was out there. As I thought this I could almost see my 15yr old self and my friends over there fishing. I wanted to yell go home kid! U have no idea what's coming. Then a lil while later a medi chopper went over head. I was reminded of 35 year old me getting air lifted to a hospital because I ripped of a dope dealer, got jumped and had my skull fractured but was so high they couldn't medicate me smh. It was a very humbling trip as I sat on the other side of that river at 42 yrs old and the best version of myself ive ever been.

My buddy and I went on a guys weekend campout at a place i grew up camping at. On the 2nd day we woke up, ate a good breakfast then I dropped 6 tabs and he dropped 2. I was gonna take 10 and him 4 but we decided to dial it back last minute (good choice). We let the tabs dissolve then hit the trail. I learned of a old Indian mound near there so we hiked to it. The tabs were just kicking in at the mound. It was very cool. I left a chunk of old school hash for them. It was covered in big gnarly thorn bushes. There was a path though. The tabs started hitting us hard so we decided to get off the trail and back to camp before we got lost. Once back there we enjoyed a very pleasant trip while listening to some good tunes and smoking some delicious herbs. I made a rule that until I could tie my fishing line I was not allowed to wander off to the lake. Lol. After several attempts and hours later we made it the lake just before sunset and it was a magical end to a much needed trip in the woods.
