Well i plan on using a shot glass of coffee into water to thin it out some and use it as my water for gelatin then sterilize and oven pour.

I made sort of like "slants" with sterilized spice rack skinny glass jars and inoculated in SAB. I used baby bella spores on one and a bit of tissue on the other. Didnt want to waste anything good till I learned what I was doing lol

Gelatin won’t work but if youre looking for an alternative to Agar, you can use Gellan Gum. Its more expensive but you get some super clear plates.

I ordered some dried PE online. They came pretty crisp but came back to life on agar. Now have like 10 colonized jars out of it, ready to spawn!
