He's done DMT over 7,000 times, roughly once a day for 15 years, and says he keeps meeting the same entities every trip.
He started in 2010. By 2020, after a decade of daily use and years of reading physics papers, he had what he calls the breakthrough. He combined DMT with a 650nm red laser aimed at a wall and stared at the diffraction pattern. What he saw was a stable, animated field of symbols. Participants describe it as katakana-like characters, Matrix-style digital rain, or a self-executing language running inside the light. He calls it the Code of Reality.
He says it's the source code of whatever this is. He's claimed over 1,000 consistent self-reports from participants, built a formal protocol around the experience, published a pilot study, and launched Code of Reality as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit research institute. The team is now running experiments in Faraday-shielded controlled settings across the U.S., Europe, and Central America. No blinded, placebo-controlled trials have been published yet.
On the Jack Neel podcast, he described what happened when he pushed past the code:
"I really wanted to know what is the ultimate truth. I was transported into an orb of light and when I entered it, I was taken to the level where the source is. What I saw was this infinite loneliness of just not understanding why, and yet there's the infinite potential space of everything that is possible and none of it means anything because you can do anything. It hit me so hard. One of the lessons they wanted me to learn is: if you want to know everything, you can. But what does that do for you right here? Just live your life. Don't worry about it."
Before any of this, Goler was a small-time actor with IMDb credits, a skate brand co-founder, a parkour athlete, and a contestant on American Ninja Warrior in 2014. He made it to the Venice qualifiers and failed on the Monkey Peg obstacle. His grandfather was a nuclear physicist. He grew up in Moscow, served in the Israeli military, and eventually ended up in LA.
Skeptics say the visuals are laser speckle, a normal interference pattern in coherent red light, amplified by DMT's known effect on the visual cortex and pattern recognition. Neuroscientist Zeus Tipado tried the protocol multiple times and called the simulation claims overstated. DMT neurobiologist Andrew Gallimore tried it and reported nothing unusual. Not everyone who follows the protocol sees the code. At least one participant reportedly experienced a psychotic break involving visions of demon programmers and ended up in police detention.
