I told him I was all in and wanted a 50mg breakthrough hit which we put into an oil burner pipe.I got comfortable on the edge on my sofa ready to flop back once I was gone and he heated it up and we began.1st toke I took a long deep inhalation filling my lungs as much as possible and tried to hold it in but I don't and have never smoked before (cigarettes I mean) so the harshness of it made me cough it out after 1 or 2 seconds, I took a deep breath or 2 and went back for a 2nd hit by this time I was seeing crazy levels of geometry where I could see the molecules in the air lighting up and forming moving kaleidoscope patterns all around me. After the 2nd hit I could no longer see in the real world but I could hear my friends voice distantly telling me what to do and somehow I managed a third. At this point there was now an audible alarm going off getting louder and closer, not like a house alarm or a police siren but more like a nuclear power plant going into meltdown; my friend now tapped me to lie back and I duly obliged. The alarm totally engulfed me and took over me very powerfully and quite unnervingly tbh, but I was going somewhere else and there was nothing I could do about it now ????.I was now in what I can only describe as total blackness, no stars no nothing just blackness and i had no physical body just my own thoughts.. a consciousness if you will. I should note that this blackness was not infinite, I was definetly aware that it was a finite space but i could not see beyond it... just blackness. At this point something started communicating with me, i could not see it nor it me as we were just 2 consciousness in an otherwise empty space. It had enveloped my consciousness to communicate with me in my own mind and in doing so had rendered me unable to communicate back. It was very abrupt and matter of fact and not soothing in the slightest which made me think of it as aggresive and made me try to resist it which was futile, however it sensed that i was distressed by it so it backed off and the next thing i remember was my own thoughts appearing on screens rushing past me through the blackness. It was once again the consciousness communicating with me but without words; it was in fact conveying a message that I must put these thoughts to one side in order to go any further on this journey, somehow i understood the message without words and as the screens whizzed by, each thought was dealt with and put to rest in what felt like milliseconds and once they were all gone it was just blackness again and nothingness. This sadly was the end of this part of the journey on this occasion as I sensed I was not going any further, to the alien filled multiverse which I was hoping for before the trip. I don't remember anything beyond this black void until i opened my eyes.Once I opened my eyes there was once again crazy geometry, colours, patterns, visible white noise and all manner of madness. I could see my friend again and communicate with him now, but I was still inbetween 2 worlds; he said I had been out for 11 minutes. As i was looking around the room i noticed that up, down, left and right didn't exist anymore, it was very strange but I kind of understood it and didn't need to question it, I could also see an intricate maze in my rug like it contained another universe of its own right before my eyes. This part of the trip lasted another 10 minutes taking me up to 21 minutes so far. After this I was now experiencing what I would describe as a very powerful but "normal" trip which lasted for about another 10 minutes during which I tried to convey what had happened to my friend.I then got a glass of water, went outside for some fresh air and 5 minutes later it was all over.To conclude, the experience was incredibly intense, by far the most intense mental state I've ever experienced. I have been asked by friends how was it and I just simply can't put a label on it... it wasn't good, nor bad, it didn't feel long or short it was just something I cannot really explain with words. I will say this though I will definitely be going back again at some point maybe in a month or two to see where else I go.I would be interested to know if anyone else has been to this black void and what they took away from it? I feel like my preconceptions of what the trip should've been like maybe held me back a little or maybe not I'm not totally sure. Maybe I should've experimented with lower doses first as the initial blast off threw me as I wasn't expecting it, but hey it's done now and what an experience it was. Finally (and thankyou for reading this far btw), because I don't smoke I found the dmt extremely harsh on my throat. I'd be interested to hear of ways to do it with just one hit and have been researching the emesh set up and yocan evolve, puffco pen etc. Any thoughts on these would also be appreciated.Over and out ????????????
