Damn... This is going to be a tough one to write out. Me and two friends dropped some acid around... 8:00pm? Already feeling good from weed, earlier. Sat down, watched some JoJo's Bizarre adventure... About four episodes in, the world absolutely collapsed around me. Reality froze, and all I noticed was in immense feeling of being lifted, but...not in 3-dimensional space. My...essence, for lack of a better term, was shot out of my body at light speeds. I could feel the sizzling in my mind as I rocketed through dimensions, seeing all sorts of distortions and kaleidoscopic fractals. My friends were equally as taken by this, and we all felt an overwhelming urge to go to an empty room. In this room, there was a metal object that acted like a tuning fork. When struck on the concrete floor, it produces this clear ringing tone unlike anything I've experienced. I could feel the waves of sound washing over me. It was beautiful. We turned the lights out, and one of the others would methodically use the tuning fork while we sat in silence. I could see the waves of sound, rolling motions of lines, white on an inky black surface. Vibrations sent through the ground from the step of an ant felt like earthquakes to me. Yet, in this chaos of no visual information and an overload of senses, I found a clarity. My breathing slowed. I was at peace, for I was grounded here, in reality, and nothing really mattered in that moment. The simplicity of the sound took me from a place of turmoil and tumult to a place of serenity and clarity. We went and layed out on the lawn after this, above us was a massive tree, the canopy stretching over me like the massive arched ceiling of a cathedral. The branches danced for me in the wind, and I found a different kind of peace. Even now, at 23 hours after taking the acid, I feel at peace. We alternated between the couch, the echo chamber room, and the lawn for a while. I was thoroughly enjoying myself, and at this point I had come off the highest peak, I believe. My friend and I were standing in the back yard at 5am, listening to the city around us. I took a deep breath, filled my lungs with the cool air of the wee hours of the morning, and breathed a heavy sigh. I felt a massive weight come off my shoulders, and listened to the city around me begin to wake for the day, listening to the gentle sounds of early birds, the occasional distant car, and the song of a thousand people dragging themselves out of bed for the day. We went inside, where my other friend had layed out a beautiful quilt and pillow for me, I layed down and used my meditation stone for a while. Holding it, even at that stage, was very grounding. The weight, the constant pressure it provided gave me a sense of stillness, and I found myself in very deep slumber very quickly. I awoke about five hours later to find a cup of coffee waiting for me (I don't usually do caffeine but I made an exception). I sipped it gingerly while my friend and I spoke about how we felt on the front porch, the sun nearly blistering our skin in the best way. The rest of the day has been extensive self-care. I showered, and cleaned my body and soul. I made some delicious Earl grey tea. I pet my dog. I cleaned my surroundings, making them simple, less chaotic. From simplicity, clarity. I am so blessed to have learned what I sought to know when I took this substance.
Now, excuse me, but this took entirely too long to write, and I still have some good afterglow to enjoy while I sleep. Goodnight, friends, and remember to stay simple.

Be careful if its a strong incense. Also if you’re using a self igniting charcoal, i’d light it out side until its finished burning off the surface. With your senses so heightened a strong smell can be very overwhelming. I burn frankincense when the energy gets too heavy in my home and i lit some wh... View More

That tuning fork idea has a base. I have a tibetan prayer bowl. I use it to welcome in my mushroom experiences when I go by myself. This was ejoyable to read. ... View More
