A few days ago, I woke up early in the morning feeling energetic and happy. I smoked some cannabis, did some meditation to gongs, chimes, and stretched with a yoga routine. Everything just flowed together in a stream that eventually led me to the lake. Feeling adventurous, I decided to hike a new trail to find that perfect spot. Within ten minutes of walking, I had already seen a large variety of birds including a beautiful crane, and even a small sparrow that had nested alonside the trail. I was in a canyon, with random pools of water everywhere. It was marshy with cattails and different types of long grasses, surprises hidden around every corner. On the edge of the canyon rim, tall oak trees lined the horizon with multicolored leaves that proved to be a spectacular site. Often I had to leap across a small section of the moving streams of water, or dance around the slippery, moss covered surfaces. I decided to cross the wetland to the other side of the canyon, into a small grove of trees for some cover from the wind. If anyone has done dmt outside, using a regular lighter, you know how hard it can be to keep a consistent flame.

This was the last of my stash, about 50 mg or so. I was surrounded by trees with a good view of the marshland covered with cattails, and all around me was bright green moss and grass that gave the area a very peaceful aura. I burned some sage and then meditated for a good ten minutes. Sounds of water trickling down the rocks into larger pools commplimented with dry, cracking leaves swaying with the breeze fllled my head. It was time. I carefully loaded the fragance burner, took a deep breath, and began to heat it up. Within five seconds or so, a very clear band of smoke began to swirl in the bulb. I started to inhale slowly for a good fifteen seconds, almost inhaling all of it in one hit. Immeditately a spine-chilling sensation, and an immense feeling of eurphoria came over me. There was a decent amount left, so I took one more hit and I was gone.

Bright, beautiful psychedelic yellows of all shades rushed over me as I closed my eyes. A tremendous feeling of warmth shot through my body and there was this blissful feeling that I was simply pure energy. I could feel my mind going through a million thoughts at once, and there were a few negative ones mainly about politics and the yellow coloration started to turn into red and black. Instantly, I blocked those thoughts out and returned to a more peaceful state of mind thinking about the beauty of everything. There was an explosion of color, the entire spectrum that manifested itself into a variety of things, myself included. This was the moment I felt myself let go, and I was just in shock and awe at the surreal depth of life. :star2:
