Dear mycologists do u store your agar plates in the fridge after pouring and letting cool down or do you store it at room temperature?

I store at room temperature for one week. After that I toss any contamed cups and use what's clean. Hope this helps! Also if you don't have a cold storage you can keep Agar going for awhile, just be sure to make multiple transfers and keep it going! Once you are done with a strain or what not you wo... View More

i store them in the incubator, like this i already know after about 10 days if they are good to use. after that i could store them in the fridge
