Just experienced a wonderful breathwork session guided by Shaboy. I didn't know what to expect so my only intentions were to observe and experience what it was like. There were 4 stages in the technique we used. During the first stage I became extremely relaxed. Loosening all of my bodily tensions. As the second stage began my lips and face started to tingle. I kept having very subtle involuntary movements with my arms. Then the 3rd stage came and I was breathing very heavily. Trying only nose breathing untill I had a few urges to sigh or moan on my exhales. My hands and arms had a vibrating sensation making them feel numb and heavy. My lips felt tight. Visually it was mostly static. Till the 4th stage began and as I let go of my breath I found a space very similar to one I experience on mushrooms. A seemingly infinite space where I feel no breath at all. It's as if my breathing became so subtle that it felt as if I wasn't doing it all. It's a very peaceful and serene place to be. This is when I saw the shadows behind my eyelids begin to take forms. First there was a giant bird figure flapping its wings. The wings swirled in an open light with a human figure wlking into it and reaching back with 1 arm. I drifted after this feeling lucid like it was all a dream. Then I heard a fellow practitioners voice in my headphones and came back. I was left with the afterglow much like after a macro dose of psychedelics. For the rest of the night and even today I still feel the afterglow which I feel is the most beneficial affect for me.
