Im still pretty new at this, but i would say the white "halos" are myc growth. Is this growth going from your agar up to the side of the cup? If so it very well could be cob web mold. Id leave it be and see how it progresses. If its cobweb mold from my little bit of knowledge it will grow very fast ... View More

@supaflex09 - Yea it goes from the agar to the side of the cup and it picked up some spores on the way up. As of right now its just white but seems like its moving pretty fast. I'll check it in a day or so to see if its progressing.

Definitely looks like codweb or pinhead mold. Unfortunately that plate looks shot. I wouldn't even open it anywhere near your lab. Those black heads show that it's already producing spores, and you'll be fighting an uphill battle if they're released.
