Probably. I expect all MSS to be dirty. I do at least 2 (usually 3) transfers before I use anything from a MSS.

Ya dude, thats bacteria. Just do some transfers and youll be alright. To make it even safer drop a piece of paper towel soacked in 3% peroxide on those spots before u transfer to make sure youre not beinging it to the new dishes as well. Good luck. Im sure you will do good
