Soaked about 40 grams fresh for 3 days and got half a quart of blue juice. Probably gonna throw the extra in a smoothie for goodluck

Definetly is more of a microdosing type of method, I felt something but it was very mild, kept falling asleep and waking up felt like a gram at most. Never got to finish the smoothie somethin about the soggy chunks werent too pleasent

I used 170 fresh for 3 people btw. Let ice melt over it in the fridge for a week. Still it was very mild

Its only a 20 quart tub and used a 1 quart jar of popcorn, probably 1:2 its looked fully colonized for about 2 weeks now but the pins I have are barely growing past week

I think 20 qt to i qt is low ratio. Just try to give them quiet dark and privacy if u know they are moist enough. You can read so much contradicting info, but when u develop a feeling relationship with them, u intuit by observation what may work best.

@psilyduncan the moisture content is most likely the problem my jars all have an injection port and a hole with micropore tape but should probably just switch it to 2 air holes since I pretty much only work with agar now.

I had a bag with a myc brick in the center that i broke up and put away. It made no progress over the next, looked like a loss. I shook it again and layed it out on its side less packed and the myc took over again in 2days. Maybe gas exchange.

This is a little more over a week since the initials pin, it looks like the cap is starting to seperate. Should I be expecting any more fruits popping up or is this pretty much it?

Looks like you have some more pinsets. Once you harvest the earlybruhs they should pop up

Could b result of conditions too. Try taking the tape off the intake holes. Im testing tinfoil casing now see if i get better flushes

I’ve always been weary to do that, this is my first successful tub I’ve tried like 4 other times and they all got contam some how. I normally mist then fan for 5 min, once a day.

I used grain water right after this post and it seems to me thaf everything came to a standstill. Rhyzo growth nearly stopped and it all went tomatose, as if it was so sweet that it didnt have to go anywhere

I haven’t been able to transfer any agar to them yet just waiting on the agar. Although my Louisianna louistics completely halted just with regular coffee grounds and popcorn.
