What i realized with agar... just from personal testing... is if you keep the temps around low around 65... the mycelium has time to outgrow contams for cleaner sectoring. Above 70 and the contams grow faster then the mycelium. Itll all grow slower at lower temps, but mycelium grows just a bit faste... View More

Youll get there soon enough. Make sure that you use a few colonized grains to make agar cups. Then you’ll be set for good with whatever strain you currently have. I use the potato flakes, corn syrup method (super simple) for my agar. There are several videos you can watch on youtube.
