Question: does it matter if I use distilled vinegar instead of white vinegar and petroleum ether 40-60 instead of naphtha? Might sound silly but just want to make sure i’m not fucking it up

Vinegar should be fine if your tek calls for it. Not sure about the ether but naptha has never been hard for me to find

We use white distilled vinegar to soak our Bark. It's an acid base reaction which I believe is crucial to the extraction process.

I use boiled tap water, does the job fine, if you have a distiller you can use distilled water, that worked fine too.
