(I took this plant 3 times when I was 17 and the first two times I don't remember anything aside from feeling a bit drunk and very tired, the first time I took 10 seeds and the second I took 15. The third time is where the story is though because this time I ate a whole leaf about the size of my hand and I have pretty big hands, I remember feeling drunk again and then vomiting multiple times, after that nothing until I woke up in bed the next morning where I discovered I could not focus my eyes due to the muscles being paralyzed from a chemical in the plant, I had sent gibberish texts to my mother and she was begging to know what has happened and when i looked through my phone i found a video of me trying to eat a yogurt cup with the spoon upside down and i was sobbing about how it wouldn't work. I have always done a lot of research on every substance before I take them and this was far worse than what I imagined would happen from just one leaf. TLDR: DON'T TAKE THIS SUBSTANCE.
Zachariah it's impossible to know how much of a certain compound is in a plant and when it's a dangerous compound like scopolamine it's simply not worth the risk in my opinion, I agree with its traditional usage by native people but not the average person.
Most here are far from average. I think probably an extract would allow one to find an idea of your dose. That or grind it up, dilute the heck out of it with a measured amount of water, then start extremely small to get an ides of the effects at what dosages. I'm not saying its easy, but I dont thin... I'm not saying its easy, but I dont think "stay away from that plant" is really effective and might even convince others to want to do it, instead of talking about safest ways to do something. Absorbing a small amount through the skin is pretty safe fron what I've seen and read.
