*****Ahead of time, I do apologize to those viewing this. My memory of this precious event is kind of blurry. I warn you, one of the major side effects of cannabis is mild dissociation. The direct definition of dissociation is the feeling of detachment from your environment, people and/or your body. *****
*Also, no stealing pls! I will pull up and find you!! Thank you!*
One.
I wouldn't really call this a "trip," but I would definitely call it an experience. One day, I was looking at this delicious edible that smelled like burnt grass. I didn't particularly like the smell that much, but I enjoyed how crunchy it looked. What I saw wrapped up in plastic was a big ass block of Rice Krispies. These Rice Krispies weren't the fruity ones, they were all beige. What were they called?? Comment if you know what that rice Krispy block was called.
Anyways, I asked my sister, "Can I have a piece?" She was like, "Girl, this is an edible!" I looked closer and saw the green in between the crisps. I was like, "Ooh, can I try?" My sister was hesitant to give me a piece at first. She said, "I thought you're not into that stuff." I responded, "I just wanna try it out." She cut off a 1/3 each to munch on. Keep in mind, she had to break it off because I was getting off of a cold.
At first, it tasted like freshly grown weed. I ate it up so fast because it tasted sooo good. I hadn't eaten all day. After we walked outside with bottles of water, we've decided to walk around to enjoy our high. It was my idea of course.
I remember asking my sister so many questions about how eddies work and she was like, "I don't know this is my first time with edibles too." We finally made it to the track and in about twenty-five or so minutes, my legs felt slightly heavy. On my high school track, my sister was noticing that I was high as f***. This is NOTHING like CBD because it only gives you relaxation. CBD was what I had before THC.
She noticed that I kept walking into her lane and just laughing at just about anything she says. My sister ended up laughing at me laughing at her getting mad at me for the sudden change of lanes. I guess 1/3 was a little too much for me because the experience only gets BETTER from here; in a spiritual way.
I kept asking her about what I'm feeling, with such excitement. "Hey sis, do you feel that buzzing in your nose," I asked. She replied with, "Sis, I'm feeling what you feeling but I'm not seeing what you seeing." Damn, I was thinking, "I'm very excited about these things on my first try, and just because you smoked swishers before does not mean you can't share your first eddie experience with me negro!"
Not only I felt the buzzing, I saw the track getting brighter and brighter. Blessedly, my initial experience wasn't like the horror stories on YouTube. On YouTube, the stories of edibles were shocking. The edibles come on you when you least expect it.
For me, the brightness and my symptoms were very gradual. It very hot and sunny outside with a slight breeze, so that definitely contributed to the brightness saw. I also noticed that I had problems keeping my eyes up and EVERY single car thay we see passing by was going 7 miles per hour. I mean it was slow as f***.
When we made our way around the corner, we saw children and got paranoid. We thought that they noticed how high we were. They asked if we would like to build a sand castle. We both weren't up to it, so we declined the offer. My sister wanted to show me some songs.
She showed me, "Kevin's Heart" by J. Cole and "Way to the Show" by Solange. We listened to two other songs and they were, "wokeuplikethis" by Playboi Carti ft. Lil Uzi Vert and "Nice for What" by Drake. I noticed that I could sing tons of beautiful add libs and runs on "Nice for What" while high. Comment if you want to see that vid.
After a few laps, my sister and I sat on the bench by the shade because we were hot. This is when I noticed that I was dissociating more and more. I barely hung on to my sis when she would talk. Suddenly the wall in front of me had a growing shadow, and it scared me a little until I saw it dissappear. I asked my sister, "Did you see that man?" She, "Girl, you trippin'."
I was like, "I forgot I was high." We both busted up because of my statement. I laugh so hard, that I ROTFL. I got up and sat back on the bench. The sunset was highlighting the beauty of the trees around us. I saw the details of each color on the leaves, I saw yellows, oranges, and greens. My sister puts her index finger over her lips, insisting that I should be quiet.
