Substance: 1P-LSD

Dose: 100ug blotter

Ate food at 5PM and then placed the blotter in my mouth (kept it on my gums) arround 545

While waiting for the come up myself, my partner, and a friend put on some episodes of the Office to keep us busy while we waited for the effects

We all started to feel the effects pretty quickly, it began very mild more similar to a microdose but more spacey. My face felt warm and eventually I started to feel very light. The comeup was actually pretty relaxing and there was no presence of cramps or nausea that is commonly reported by others. The trip progressed slowly to the point that I never felt overwhelmed by it other than a brief moment near the first peak. The reason I say first peak is becase it felt as if there was three seperate layers to it, each more intense than the last. These occured between the one and 3 hour mark (7-9PM).

Visually I found the experience stunning.

I didn't spend much time with my eyes closed but whenever I did, was often introduced to a multitude of alchemical symbols all interconnecting and revolving arround some sort of center. This intrigued me however I couldnt get a grasp of an individual symbol seperate from the rest, yet I knew they were famililar. I later recognized them as planetary symbols like Mercury and Jupiter, which was interesting to me since visually they seemed to interact much like planets would in a solar system.

Most of the trip was spent with my eyes open analyzing various art peices I had laying arround my apartment. The more time I spent looking at a peice the more absorbed I became into it. Looking at a picture I had painted (I am no talented artist) I felt as if I was looking at a motion picture of "A Strarry Night" even tho these pictures do not have much in common. I found most enjoyment in my room where I had a black light turned on, lighting up various UV psychedelic like posters. The first one I became intrigued by was the "wormhole". Typically it looks something out of an acid trip on its own but in this case it was taken to a whole new level. At first I felt as if I were swimming into it, and eventually became fascinated by what appeared to be an eye placed at its center. The more I looked at the eye, the more the abstraction all arround it began to take one different shapes and forms. After spending some time looking at this poster I decided to lay down on my bed and started to explore a dfferent poster. This one has an image of a gnome sitting in a field of giant amanita mushrooms smoking out of a pipe. In the sky there were these fractals moving in a way similar to a flame. It almost seemed as if they took up the shape of a fiery dragon, until it dawned on me it was indeed fractals I was looking at and the reason they were moving as so was because they were FRACTALING. I felt as if I had a revelation at this moment and began to examning all of the fractals that were embedded into the image, I realized they were all moving the same way and I was merely witnessing th fractals come to life. I became fascinated about how the artist somehow knew that looking at his work on acid would produce such an effect and quickly began to look at the third poster I had. This one seems like some sort of gnome/mushroom village and took on an almost 3D look with the acid. I then realized the 3D appearence was due to the positioning of the felt on the poster and went on to describe to my partner and friend how looking at these posters on acid was much like watching a movie with 3D glasses as compared to without them (or when sober).

I lost track of time for the most part of the trip and found time went by pretty quickly after the peak. Most of the trip after this point invovled a lot of discussion amongst us, mostly about the impacts of hierarchal systems and so on. Based on the field of work we do these conversations are not uncommon and therefore the most stunning part of this whole experience has definetly been the visual peice.

A lot of the comedown came in waves. When the acid became more prevelant I found it difficult to speak and spent more time enjoying visuals and thinking, but I found the visuals pretty prominent throughout the entire experience. At one point I sort of convinced myself that the trip was "over" (at least in terms of the head and body load with the exception of visuals) and got my partner playing some music on the keyboard. Suddenly I started to feel odd, and began having negative thoughts associated with how I was feeling. This was weird to me since the entire trip I felt relaxed and happy and I was much closer to the end of the experience. I reminded myself that there was no pressure or responsibilities I had in this moment and gave myself permission to release some of the tension. I decided to switch things up and lie down instead of feeling tied down by set standards that govern my "normal reality". It made things feel better for a moment until I became abosrbed into the music my partner was playing. It had a very foreign and dark vibe to it which really sat with me the wrong way. I realized the music was descending me into depths I did not want to go and struggled to give into the experience. Suddenly he changed the tone and began playing classical piano rather than deep psytrance. This changed everything. The higher pitch of the keys sounded beautiful and gave me what I needed to give in to my emotions and release. There were moments that lower tones were played which made me start to think about things a little deeper, but then at the perfect moment it would switch back to high keys that would give me the opportunity to process some of the deeper thoughts. I was so grateful for this part of the experience and soon after came out of the acid wave and returned back to where I was previously. At this point it was nearing the 12hour mark and couldnt believe I still had the same ammount of visuals as I did.

At arround 6am I decided to try to sleep and found I slept pretty easily despite still having decent visuals. If I didnt have shit to do the next day, I likely would of just stayed up and rode them out. It is also worth mentioning I made sure to have fruit out to snack on during the experience since I didn experience brief moments during the comedown where I realized I should probably eat something despite not feeling like it much.

Overall, I am very happy with the way this experience turned out and am excited about now having a reliable source if I ever am in need of another shift in reality. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions about my experience or just want to know more about 1P-LSD. Thank you to the creators of this platform for creating the perfect space to integrate some of my experiences. You will be sure to hear from me again.
