MAOI have psychoactive effects in high enough doses, but DMT only needs MAOI if ingested orally.

False.....DMT freebase can be smoked by itself and produce a hallucinogenic effect. Using a MAOI with it prolongs the hallucinogenic effect that is why you use a MAOI in a changa (infused herbs) mix it prolongs the DMT trip.
