During a party in 1993 I was completely stoned. At one point I spent about an hour looking everywhere for my glasses until someone said "You're wearing them." LOL!

In late November 2020 I was visiting my Dad. He had some weed, but I hadn't smoked marijuana in years. He told me his marijuana was "strong."
Decades ago I had smoked marijuana regularly and one time I ingested LSD without any major problems.
I assumed that I could easily handle my Dad's weed in one puff. I rolled the marijuana in a cigarette tube because there weren't any rolling papers left. I thought to myself "I'll smoke this and probably not even get a buzz."
WRONG
This is HUMBLING to admit, but I'm not gonna lie, so here it goes:
Within about 5 minutes I said, "Dad, I think I might be high already." My Dad is nearly 70 years old and a really nice guy. Within about 20 minutes I said "I gotta lay down, I'm dizzy." My Dad was in the livingroom watching a movie. He said, "Are you Okay, son?" I said "NO!" Within minutes my head turned into a total explosion of "Philosophical Answers." Anything and everything became philosophy. I could see visions of elderly people morphing into youthfulness and appearing as their younger selves, giving advice and wisdom. It was like being on a psychological roller coaster at 500 mph! I was shook up. My mouth was so dry my gums were like sandpaper. Since I had experience with substances, I knew one thing which reassured me: my trip would end over time. I kept asking my Dad, "What time is it?" My Dad at nearly 70 years old could easily handle this "special weed." LOL. After about an hour the effects slowly started to fade, but I was still shook up. I went to the living room and tried to have a beer. My Dad looked at me and said "Son, I know you're fucked up, you shouldn't have smoked it." He seemed genuinely concerned. Here I was at 46 years old and my Dad was telling me I shouldn't have smoked this weed. LOL! After a few hours the effects wore off and my mind was slowly returning back to earth. RELIEF. Anyone else have an experience like this?

The first and only time I ingested LSD was during the summer of 1995. I had also smoked marijuana during the 'trip'.
The initial experience was like a 'total body funhouse' effect. My legs seemed short like a reflection in a funhouse mirror. I could barely walk or talk and I had no depth or distance perception.
After somewhat recovering from my sensory confusion, I had another interesting experience. Everything looked, sounded, and 'felt' as if it were in 'super high definition'.
For about six months to a year afterwards I would occasionally have mild flashbacks. Usually tingling sensations on my skin and mild dizziness, but nothing too serious.
This was the only time that I ingested LSD.

I smoked weed for the first time in 1992.
Before then I had heard descriptions from friends and acquaintances about drugs, substances etc but I did not have any experience. I had never tried marijuana so I had no idea what to expect. My friend offered to let me smoke some weed with him. I smoked half a joint while he and another friend and I listened to Led Zeppelin. The music was so loud it was like giant thunderbolts of sound thumping through the house but it was cool and the weed definitely enhanced the music. It was fun and I knew right off the bat that it was only the beginning and I would definitely look forward to smoking weed again
