Mimosa hostilis grows wild all over mexico, according to TIHKAL. I bet you could find it in Texas too.

Mimosa hostilis is cross border, doesn't grow on texas side, I am from Brazil so Mimosa Hostilis grows almost everywhere here, if you want I could ship you some amount if you like, but you would need to pay the shipping fees

If you want the easiest way, you could use benzine, it is present on the zippo lighter fluid, then when you extract the cristals you remove the benzine with a filter
