View MoreI'm a technologist in the United States currently working on founding an organization focused on consciousness research using off the shelf electronics. Everything from Lucid Dreaming wristbands (similar to the InstaDreamer but 1/10th the cost) to consumer-level 16+ channel EEG devices. I'm also working on a line of "Entheopaints" paint pigments derived from Entheogens) and hope to be able to share that work here in the coming weeks ????. Though in my day job, I'm a DevOps engineer (though I spend the majority of my time as a software engineer) with a background in cryptography and webscale infrastructure. In my spare time, I have a piqued interest in video gaming and virtual worlds. I also have an excessive amount of physical books, some 3500+, because I go book shopping every weekend if at all possible. I enjoy studying religious topics, everything from Abrahamic religions to Occult studies, and perhaps even more esoteric. I have a robust interest in the Paranormal (if it's not glaringly obvious), everything from psychic phenomena to aliens and interdimensional travel. I enjoy making electronic music (A sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBzUZIE4U8U ), though I also play guitar and sing (you'll probably never get me to sing for you). I enjoy writing, though I don't typically make my work public I'd like to write a novel one of these days. My favorite books are House of Leaves and Mind Surfer, which reminds me that I need to re-read Mind Surfer because it's been a few years O_O; I have been going through some severe health problems lately, and it's necessitating many obnoxious surgeries, so my interest in my spirituality has been revitalized in the past few months, ultimately leading me here. I'm one of those people that believes that the world DMT lets you experience is a real one and that the entities are real and not just reflections of our subconscious minds. I don't know if that's a widespread belief, especially outside of this community, but I still like discussing it with open-minded people. I'd like to, and I'm planning to participate in an Ayahuasca ceremony in the Amazon as well. I spent several years exploring psychedelics specifically, but I stopped for many years (over a decade) as my focus shifted to my career and stabilizing my life. I think I'm at a good point in life to come back to that, though, and my life experience over the past decade has brought me back again. I am very familiar with Entheogens, and my first psychedelic experience was at the age of 15 (probably a terrible idea in hindsight) with Salvia. I've experimented with everything from Amanita and Belladonna to Yopo and Zacatechichi. Entheogens have been a significant part of my life throughout, and I feel like I'm ready to start sharing knowledge (if you can call it that) that with others.

Like the idiot I am, I didn't even read the instructions before beginning the questionnaire. I thought it was more of a quiz, so I didn't research the things I didn't know.
