One of my personal interests with psychedelics is in it's history. I began an interesting journey several years ago exploring a largely unknown Rabbi who was at Harvard during the Leary years, and was a personal friend of Ram Dass. His name was Reb Zalman and he approached the mystical/psychedelic connection via an unusual background as a Hasidic Jew from a mystical sect and an educator on Jewish mysticism. I ended up getting legally high for 3 days in Boulder, Colorado where he taught at Naropia University.. exploring his archives after his death. Part of the story of his conversion to shamanistic entheogen use.... was turned into an article I wrote. Not a great technical piece but it is psychedelic history and I hope the readers of this app will like it.http://www.lewblink.com/2017/07/15/thepsychedelicrabbi/
