The couple of times I have extracted from Brazil my yields were low......I am not so sure my quality of bark was the best though ( I think it was the vendor to be honest) mexico, even from different vendors I have good turn out when I extract.
I read somewhere that plants grown at higher altitude typically contain more alkaloids. I think there's far too many variables to say with any certainty.
