Sooooo the agar recipe I tried failed miserably. Out of 19 samples I poured, four contamed, 7 showed little growth, and the rest showed nothing. I think i went bust on that batch. Its also been a month so ive allowed it time to grow. Room temp is constant 75 degrees Fahrenheit and dark. Did i mess something up other than the recipe? Any suggestions on another recipe that might be better? I tried the apple juice recipe from Home Mycology. The only things i subsituted was the raspberry extract with strawberry and used orange citrus instead of lemon. Any help is appreciated because ive been 8 months now without and i really need an escape folks. Mush love!
