Was seeing what a few un modded tubs set in inside a big unmodded tub without perlite. Mature ones only were fuzzy bottom half inch. Those abouts are only 1/2" tall. Def do need to open it up more though.

Keep humidity up. They outgrow the shoeboxes and more air around them is more forgiving. Can spray inside of big one and inside walls of shoebox tubs with peroxide.
