First proper day back at work. Stressful but good. Needed a smoke tho so ducked off to the shops quickly. This is an Australian pack of ciggies. Gross hey! Whats worse is the price! I just paid $59.10 for 40 smokes. Price jumped this week (by about $8!). I think its time quit this shit!!

We have to go far back, to your first ever cigarette. I was 11 maybe 12 years old i smoked red marlbarough that i stole from my dads hidden treasures from the top shelf, my dad didnt smoke, but the fact that it was forbiden fruit excited me to go for it. I remember my first ciggy better than my first kiss, and i remember it was disgusting. I am pretty sure that all of you can say the same thing, that the first time you smoked you didnt like it at all, what you liked was feeling of being an adult, feeling of pretending to be an adult. Sometimes it was feeling of being accepted by friends who was pretending to be an adult, who thought that they know what they are doing, and who thought they are cool because they ware breaking the rules. Be honest to yourself and ask what was the reason for having a first smoke? Was it taste? Nicotin? Stress?

I really doubt it...I think this is the root of our addiction... every excuse is your heavy addiction. We know that tobbaco is one of the most addictive substances in the world, but the most stupid thing is, that we as a kid think it is cool, that this is what adults do and as a kid you always think about, when you grow up you will be this and that, when you grow up you will be bigger, taller, older, what that change going to be like,etc. So at first it was just a game or curiosity, as everything else in the world at that age. Later it became symbol of your status, it symbolised that you are badass enough to take hit in your lungs, that you are not scared to walk around with pack of cigaretts in your pocket. How can 15year old kid say that : i just cant wake up whithot coffee and cigarett? It is only influnce from adults, movies, tv shows etc., and you get trapped by believing in that kid. By 22 you still dont know what the hell is happening around, but smoke is big part of your life, your belief is so strong that you convince yourself, you cant live with out it...everyone have made stupid mistakes when they were younger, but not everyone can agree with it and let it go... would you let that kid drive you to work, would you let that kid tell you how to live your life, what to do or what not to do? No, i look back at my self when i was 25, 27,30 and i was kid in my mind back then, even then i wouldnt let myself make decision of telling me how to live my life, imagine that guy at 11 or 12? What can that guy know?But to those who are smoking this is reality, little kid makes decision for you, you have stuck in age where you wanted to impress someone, or prove someone something, or be part of something, and the sad thing you are still doing it.... Secondly there is only one type of energy we really own... it is our time. We dont know how much we have got or when it is going to run out, and we are pretty sure that smoking takes tome away from us.... so you are spending your precious time to go to work —> to earn money —> to buy something, that takes your time away —> than because of that you spend more and more money on medicine —> than you get steressed out and start smoking again—> more work—> need more money—>and its a loop that you are trapped in, mostly because you wanted to be cool when you were kid Lets talk about health? I know everyone knows it can cause cancer, heart problems etc. etc. bla bla blaaaa.... who cares, but Just for a one second try to imagine that you go to doctor and he gives you the news, and it says cancer and you pretty much have 6-12 months left,life would just fall appart, chemotherapy surgeries radiation needles etc, and he says it is most likley that it comes from smoking...suffering, pain and u die, all good with me, because i think we are too many people on the earth right now anyway, but would it be all good with your children? Your parents? Your friends and family, it is suffering for everyone who loves you. Dont we all know this shit? Of course we do, we have heared it 1000 of times, do we change, no because we think it wont happen to us. And last i want to say it is not only bad Shamans been using tobbaco wiseley for centuries and it can cure and help people, even top neurosurgions states that it looks like nicotine it self helps stimulating brain to be more productive and ease early signs of demantia and alzheimers, whithout smoking it of course. In my eyes you dont have to quit smoking if you really love it, but if you love it you wont go and buy it in petrol station or liquor store, if you love it you will put effort to enjoy it, you will put effort to find best possible tobbaco or maybe grow it your self, you will put effort to make sure it looks good, it tastes amazing, it feels awesome, it is clean and organic and you will not abuse it. Have something you love once in a while, treat your self once in a while and respect it, it can be good for you... Wanted to finish with that, but there is one more thing - responsibility Whatever you do in your life with passion - is it art, music, sport or just your job that you love, you will have people following you and admiring you. This is where your responsibilty kicks in, Imagine that 11year old kid admiring you in whatever you do, just imagine if in that moment when that kid realises that he/she wants to be like you, and at the same moment you take ciggy and light it up, you will pass your curse on to them, like someone passed their curse on to you.... Believe me its much nicer to wake up with freshly made juice or nice glass of water and fresh air, than ciggy and coffee I really hope that someone will think about it and maybe make a change, if not for him/her self, than for me and people around you
