My first bag colonizing, 7 days from inoculation. I have two 1/2lbs bags I ordered online along with different spore syringes. This bag is blue meanie. When I knocked this one I mixed the grains around after to spread the spores, rolled it up tight stuck it in a bag to keep out of the light and I'm happy with the progress. I want to check it every day but think I'll not disturbe it. The other bag was Golden Teacher and after I inoculated it I left the bag standing upright and placed into a larger plastic bag. Thing is, it did not show any growth. Im thinking it was because of the presence of oxygen which as I understand it inhibits myco growth. I gave the non active bag another CC of GT, rolled it back up tight double bagged it and stuck it back in the dark tote. It may have been a bad first knock, not sure.
