My love for Melmac shows and will always continue! They also do really well in the bags and so far I’m loving them! Though I always prefer monos, bags work so much better on shelves! Also if you lose a bag to contam no biggie, toss and go! New strategy now is 5-6qt monos out of case with the others going right into bags! Shoeboxes and all worked great, but getting the right growing conditions can be bothersome and require lots of fanning, even if you neglect it with lid on loose, one can still lose some fruits to lack of FAE. Either way the goal is to now work smarter, not harder! Got to make every spawn jar count! As for why I prefer monos, whenever I pick the classic cubes and get a beautiful full canopy it’s like having my own private patch to pick from without the need to forage! lol always fun to watch as well!

I have to thank you IamUrMe and Innervison for getting me onto Melmac! It is a unique strain that I never get bored with, I keep experimenting with it and working with it.

DOOR_MOUSE for the bags I suggest mixing the spawn with the substrate, for fae I cut 2 holes above substrate level on both sides of the bag and and two holes on the top of the bag which I then cover with micropore tape. That’s for 0,5 micron filters or smaller. You can get 5 micron bags that don’t ... View More
