Psilocybe_and_me I looked it up and it seems like that is correct!! Thank you so much for the info. My tub was stressed and overly humid. Makes sense they would freak out a bit. Should they get tossed out? If so, it's all good.

It’s a mutation that’s not caused by bacteria or another mold or fungus. I wouldn’t worry about it as long as your cake seems healthy.
