I broke the rear glass window out of my jeep the other day. I got covered in small and larger pieces of beautiful fractal like shattering glass. A few cuts and slowly getting the hundreds of small shards of glass off of my body (as it broke as I was standing underneath it closing it) was worth the added touch to my art piece. I was planning an epoxy River pour for this table, but was considering doing a lava flow table. Well the decision was made for me as now I am much more appreciative for myself in holding awareness for the events leading to my glass being broken in a move. So here’s the first pour with the added glass from my jeep on my lava table ongoing project. A few more pours to go.

Thanks, I’m loving how it’s turning out so far. And yeah I do the burns with a litchenburg machine I builds a few years ago out of a microwave.

Here’s an update, after cleaning up some of the first pour and doing a second pour. There will be many more layers of pouring epoxy and glass until I get the right look and depth.
