It is my understanding that ethanol doesn't work in an extraction. Ethanol is polar, you want a non-polar solvent because DMT is non-polar

Ethanol works very well, because it’s be-polar, so polar and non-polar.

Till now, I didn’t tried it out, because life happens and I had other things to do.
Anyway, I’m still not sure what solvent would be optimal and what kind of setup I would need
