Hey Dmt world im Dom and im new here! Ive been lurking for some time til now! Im trying my first grow of mushrooms (Apes, teachers, and lions mane for medicinal benefit) and the first thing i was thinking of doing was attempting to make culture jars of the 3 syringes. My question is. Am i thinking a bit too big (or far along) for my first time? As in should i just try the syringes in agar and start or am i right in thinking it better to make more liquid culture to draw from leading to increase in yield? Thanks for your time and any input!

I don't agree. Agar isn't difficult. Shooting spores directly into a grain bag runs a higher risk of failure. Agar will greatly improve your chances of success. I would say start with pf tek, or start with agar. If youre knocking up jars, id do brown rice flower w half pint jars & a verm topper. You wont have contam issues at all. Very forgiving.
