Got some slow slow fruiting going on. And something that ive never seen before. A few pins are "cracking" as they grow. New to me. Can anyone explain to me what exactly is going on here? What can i do to mitigate this?

I wouldnt soak the cake yet. Just keep spraying the lid to keep humidity up inside and put a humidifier next to it to help with the dry air. That should help hydrate thecake in a day or so.

When I have a mass pin set and know the block is sucking up more than my humidity can deliver, i will add 1/4 shot glass of water periodicly until it stops soaking it up..

I placed the cake on top of some hydrated perlite. Hopefully that will mitigate the dry situation.
