If you properly sterilized it a few burst grains shouldnt hurt you, give it time and see what happens.

It just takes forever. I waited full week and a half, and had given up hope before I saw my first signs of colonization. Make sure that the temp stays at a constatant 80 degrees farenheit.

Shake it lightly, or roll it to spread the grains out enough for them to dry a bit (fluffing). Next time “fluff” it up and let it sit for a few days before innoculating. The grains will soak up the extra moisture.
