I find this very conflicting.. They say air is needed to pin? Why are two brf jars that are supposed to be gas exchanging right now, doing this if that was truely the case? 6 jars total, all done the same day within a few min of one another. The two front jars that were exposed to the ambient light both have started doing this. Both different varieties, both under an inch or so of verm on the top?? None of the other 4 have this going on.. The only difference is the two jars that were front and center getting light. I feel if air alone was key, they all would have this going on , but they dont..

Yeah, its not air alone. And you don’t tell the mushrooms what to do. Sometimes when they’re ready, they’re ready. If you want to slow things down, you should keep in a cooler environment.

Nah I dont need to slow it down, they are probably the only brf jars I will ever do... Just stating observations as I recieve them, for the rest of the folk learning like me..
